Okay, it's late, and I'm tired, but I just got all my parts so what else can I think about. Tomorrow is build day! So maybe this is a really stupid question, but -

When I install my psu into my Coolermaster CAC5 case, its fan will point either up, or down. (Seems to me it should point out, but that's not how it's designed.) So, should it go up, right into the top of the case, or down where I guess the rear fan will suck it out?

Thx

the fan on the psu is meant to draw air into the psu then out the back of it, typically the fan will point down to draw hot air in from the computer and expel it out the back like another exhaust fan.

Yeah, the PSU at the top of the case should have the fan should point down where there is a lot of air for it to intake.

My case (Antec 900) is unusual and has the power supply at the bottom of the case so the PSU is upside down and the fan points up. Perfect for letting small debris fall into the PSU.
