Message: The feedback from your support rep for my case (I reported a bug in Intellipoint software) was to dismiss it and refer me to Microsoft UK page assuming I BOTH live in the UK AND use UK software versions just because my email address provided ended in yahoo.co.uk....

Great detective work, hardly relevant though to the issue, which still refers to US version of Intellipoint. Closing the case due to assumed location of your customers is not really providing great feedback...

Thanks,
George

WTF? Microsoft second reply was exactly the same with the first one!!! If Robobrains from Fallout 3 were hired to do support work I am sure they'd do much better... :??:

What's the issue here? You taking 3 years to resolve a problem or MS using a standardized reply sheet?

How can you have had the problem for 3 years on an OS that is not officially launched yet?

? Why not use the latest version of Intellipoint? The non-stated problem was probably addressed 2 1/2 years ago.

The problem is that they reject the case with a reply template due to me living in UK (allegedly) and then the use the same reply template due to me living in Greece.

Both rejections were unrelated to the cause of the issue as well as its effects...

Audio, I have had the same issue on Intellipoint for XP and the issue continues on Win7 - which one didn't you understand? :sarcastic:

The part of you being a git. If you are dumb enough to use a trackball then suffer you must.

The truth is that trackballs are great, especially at games. It also brings me joy to watch an ignorant fool complain about the trackball when he/she tries to use my pc. One like you perhaps :sol:

A MS trackball expolorer in good condition like mine goes for up to $400 on ebay if you're lucky to find one...

Not often I'll defend a noob down here but I've got a Logitec Marble Mouse, which whilst not used for a while, is still very much chimp approved HW.

The irony is that I install trackballs for cretins in certain factories.
A deeper irony is you assuming that I would like to use your PC.
An even deeper irony is that you probably own a trackball, because you want to feel different.
And the deepest irony is that you probably are different, but in a non social way.

I do wonder silk, do you ever get sunlight in the basement dwelling you reside in?

You install trackballs?? Jebuz even I've managed to train our users how to manage that one themselves.

Reply to audiovoodoo

It's integrated into a $1000 control unit. If I allowed them to self install, then I'd be creating more work. Exponentially more work tbh.

Trackball installer eh? How can I become one too so I can get out of my basement and hang out at the lovely places you work?

Since self install is out of the question I reckon you *must* also instruct them how to press ctrl-alt-del? How many days work is that Trackball Installer? Obviously you must also charge a fortune, like $5 an hour.

Reply to silkman

Hey silk. Stop with the elitist attitude and read the stickies you nimrod. No gives a sh*t about your MS issues. Or you to be more specific. Now fcuk off.

It's part of a job you muppet. I can see you do something that is one dimensional. Like bitch and moan over a trackball.

Obviously you must also charge a fortune, like $5 an hour. Actually, I had instances where an operator couldn't insert a set point because, being family of you, he couldn't deduct that with numlock off the numeric keypad (the set of buttons where your booger infested fingers traverse) didn't work. My hourly rate would be hard to fathom for you with the dollar being so shaky

Nice try though (and it's laden with sarcasm as you seem to get stuck at hammering with one point only). If I had a pic of you I'd brand it Epic Fail.
