Spherex 5.1 or Logitech 5.1. Please help!!

Hi I have around 200 pounds to spend on a surround system for my fairly small room, i will be using an xbox 360 and a pc. I have decided on either the Logitech z5500 which can be found here http://www.beastcomputers.co.uk/cart/cart.php?m=product_detail&p=95. Or the Spherex 5.1 system which can be found here http://www.spherexinc.com/home.aspx. I was just really hoping someone woudl be able to tell me which one of these systems would produce the better sound. Thanks for allyour help. Ant.

Depends on what you want:

The Spherex are designed to work with the Xbox and will give you 300watts RMS. You will not get the massive bass with these.

The Logitech Z 5500 are THX cert. which means that you are going to get a LOT of bass out of your speakers. These run at 500watts RMS.

The Logitech will be louder and have more bass but the Spherex might be a little more clear and crisp.

I personally have the Logitech z5500 and I also have a set of Z680 (what the z5500 are based off of) and I like them very much. BUT THX can get annoying at times and settings need to be changed on occasion.

Both are nice systems and should be good for a long time to come.
