I have pentium 2.4 with xp sp2 512 ram on jetspeed 520i router running on lan with ISDN.My provider has 75kb/s max download and 25 kb/s max upload.Every five minutes my line drops to 0 kb/s or when I open different programs or browse new links on net.The speed gradually goes back to normal speed then again five min. later samething.....why?

Access your router and set the connection to stay alive.
Some ISPs set the connection to drop after a certain time period. But 5 minutes is awfully short.
Try upgrading the firmware of your router. Sometimes this solves the problem.

Unfortunately ISDN can be funny when it has problems. It might be a pair of wires running from your router to the demarc. I would contact your provider and give them the ciruit ID on the line and see if they can test it to find if its taking any errors.
