BUILDING NEW BUILD.. HELP WITH MB

WELL IHAVE THE PART TO START THE BUILD .. BUT I READ ON THE FORUM THAT THE MANUAL FOR MY EVGA BOARD HAS ALOT OF ERRORS..

CAN SOME ONE HELP WITH THIS INFO

Not a problem yet-- Havent completly assemable the rig yet.

Installed the cpu to the mb . Installed the artica fan to the cpu.
memory is slotted in.

I have yet to connect any cables yet ( wating for the video card and the psu from ups today )

I read from this forum that some of the inputs were not correct , when connecting them to the mb..

i want to know if i should follow the manual - i read some were label wrong in the manual in this forum but did not save the link.

Should i update the bios before or after i install xp...

I would just follow the manual, i havent heard of any gross errors. If you do run into something that you know is wrong just post it hear, we'll tell you what to do!

If you are talking about the hard drive corruption thing, simply update the bios. Note that it didn't affect everyone. I also think it still has issues with the xi-fi card though but apparently, you didn't get one.
