Hi..
I have a sbs 2000 server.
I'm our domain administrator, I log on server as an administrator locally.
When I try to open Add/remove programs from Control Panel. An error message
says "Add/Remove Programs has been restricted. Please check with your
administrator ". I can open other administrative tools, active directory ,
group policy vs. Administrator user have full rights in active directory.
Only, I can not open Add/remove programs from Control Panel.
Please tell me how I can fix the problem. Thanks.

Hi,

It sounds like you have a setting in the Default Domain Group Policy
that is affecting all the users including the administrators.

I would check in the Users-Admin Templates - Control Panel and check
all the settings for ALL GP’s that may affect the server or the
Administrator.

Cheers,

Lara
