Drag the corners of your "window" to full size using your mouse. Then the
first time you close it out do not use the red X in the upper rt. corner
instead in the upper left corner expand "file" and select "exit".
After this first time they should open full size.

I just loaded XP on my machine, had ME with Office Professional 200. My Word
takes for ever to boot up. Do I need to reinstall Office 2000, or is it not
really compatible with XP?

Answered in your latest thread. It does no good to keep posting the same
thing.
