More Information

1st, let me tell you what my system is:

Antec Sonata (1st version with 380 Watts PSU)
Athlon 64 3500+
ABIT K8N-SLI (nforce 4 SLI)
Gigabyte 6600GT 128 MB
2 x samsung 512 Meg DDR 400 (1 GIG total) dual channel
Hercules Game theater XP
Western digital S-ATA 250 GB
Maxtor S-ATA 2 300 GB
LG DVD Rom drive
Sony DVD writer drive

Now, on this computer, I have 2 x 21.3 inch LCDs (both Viewsonic vp2130b, awesome monitor by the way). I do need all my monitors to be at 1600x1200 and be comfortable at this resolution. Now, my problem is, I want a 3rd monitor (ya, another vp2130b), but my graphic card does not do 3 monitors of course!

Since I have a SLI motherboard (and dont intend to use this feature unless it somehow allows me to have 3 monitors), I have 2 PCI Express graphic card slot (and only 1 used right now). So, my 1st question is, if I order for example a Geforce 7600 (I would prefer this to another 6600GT because I would like to have 2xDVI instead of 1x DVI and 1x D-Sub), can I use it independently from my 6600 GT and get my 3 monitors at 1600x1200?

If you guys have another suggestion, I would like to hear it! Also, do you think I would need to upgrade my power supply for this? I also use this computer for gaming, so I would'nt really like to go for one of those "horrible 3D performance 3-4 monitor graphic cards".

If possible, I would like it if the graphic card could support 2560x1600.

Thanks in advance for your help!
