7600GT with a 200W PSU?

What would happen if i put a Geforce 7600GT AGP in my system with a 200watt power supply? Would it damage any of my system? or just not run to its max potential? Would it work for weaker graphic games and not for demanding graphic games?

You might to try posting the rest of your system's specs including whether or not it's a Dell, HP, etc....if you expect to get any answers.

when was that system built, in prehistoric times :lol: i never knew comps came with 200W power supplies.

My current computer only has 185W. :lol:

one of three things:

1. system won't boot (need bigger PSU)
2. system will boot and everything is fine (no action necessary)
3. system is unstable or performance sucks (get a bigger PSU)

none of those 3 things will cause any permanent damage to your hardware.

I have a salvaged 85w from a mATX computer from the late 90's. Works perfectly before I pulled it.
