Hi

I have a Windows 2003 network and I am trying to apply a
policy (not default domain) and I have a Test OU. In the Test OU I have XP
SP2 box and a Win2K Pro SP4 box in there. The policy seem to take place
fine in XP but not in W2K, I went to the command line and did a gpresult and
I see the new policy there but it is not actually applied. I've check the
event log and all I see if event log 1000 and it says "
Event Type: Error
Event Source: Userenv
Event Category: None
Event ID: 1000
Date: 8/18/2005
Time: 2:11:38 PM
User: Domain Name\TestUser
Computer: GX260
Description:
Windows cannot query for the list of Group Policy objects . A message that
describes the reason for this was previously logged by this policy engine.
