I was woundering if there was a way to disable any type of wireless network device on a computer. I'm trying to stop someone from stealing internet services from a neighbor expecually to just look at porn. Any information will be helpful to me.

You need to inform whom ever network access is being stolen.
If your computer can do it others can do it. Be a good neighbor tell him/her to secure their system.

Then it becomes their problem!

Sounds like you really don't want to get the neighbor involved in your household business.

If the computer in question is a desktop with a wireless card, just remove the card. If the responsible party replaces the card, remove it again. Even simpler, most of the cards have external antenna that screws into the card, just remove that. Cards cost money, and they will soon find the cost-effectiveness to be negative vs the ability to ogle.

Have teenagers who believe anyone's access point to the net is their exclusive property. Developed a small collection of cards and antennae, but their cash flow could not keep up. They can now go on ONLY when I say so.

Or you can do what i do... login to the router as most people with Linksys routers don't change the default pw. (no username\PW: admin) Then setup a WEP key or have it filter by MAC addresses. This will help keep your kids or whoever off of the access point.
