Hi,

I configured folder direction to redirect my documents folder to an UNC
path name.(\\server\groupname\%username%)

All users have full control of their home folder.
(user1 has full control of \\serveur\group1\user1)

The first time an user logon to a computer, the GPO apply correctly (no
errors or warnings)

But, the second time the same user reconnect to the same computer, the
folder is not redirected. The GPO seems to be applied (no errors in
event logger) and the file %windir%\debug\usermode\fdeploy.log seems to
be ok.

The only time the folder is indeed redirected is when an user logon to
a computer for the first time. After that, at each login, the folder my
documents is back in c:\documents and settings\user1\my documents

Does anybody have an idea?

thks
Denis

Hi,

The times that I had problems with Folder Redirection was with DNS not
working properly. Make sure the machines are properly setup for DNS
http://www.sd61.bc.ca/windows2000/dns.htm and make sure they are
time-synched with the DC.

Cheers,

Lara
