Review on my PC and Suggestions for Upgrades Required

Hello all,
i built my home PC a year ago with the following config
Intel Pentium 4 630 3.00GHz
Intel D915GLVG
Single 512 MB DDR@PC2700 (166 MHz)
The thing is that i need to Upgrade my system to a Pure Gaming PC and i don't want to change my processor and the motherboard.(If there is no other option i have to---i know that.In that case please give a good config for Gaming....my budget would be 1300$)

But the motherboard doesn't support AGP or PCI-Express x16[It has 2 PCI and 1 PCI-E x1]. And all the good Graphic cards come on those modules.(How stupid i am to buy this Board 8O ...Real Stupid i would say)

Please give me suggestions on how to make my pc better for gaming like memory upgrades(1GB ),graphic card(PCI-E x1),or anything...

Find out which direction you're going: major overhaul or incremental upgrade.

This supports AGP/PCI-E/DDR/DDR2. You could keep the cpu & ram.

List the rest of your parts. Hdd, cd/dvd, psu?

Thanks for the info,
here is my other configs:
PCU type:ATX12V 2.0(local company)
80 Gb SATA Samsung
16x Sony DVD Rw
Logitech mouse and keyboard
LG 17" monitor
Zebronics cabinet without any cooling solution(only 1 fan at the side)

i know my system sucks! it was gifted from my brother (2002)
And now i am trying to upgrade it.

Thanks for the motherboard link, i liked ur choice but i found 1 more which can support the latest quad as well core 2 duo processor.
but it doesn't have firewire and only 1 PCI-Ex16 slot(i need 2 )
And i am not satisfied with the chipset it uses!!!(nvidia/intel chipsets are good according to me)

Please suggest me any other motherboard which has the features mentioned above...
