new build advise

Im planning a new build, based around a 8800GTS or 8800gtx, whats a good cpu to run these cards, also its will be strickly a gaming rig, middle of the road budget $1500 or so

you might be able to squeeze a gtx in, but i think a gts better fits your budget. e6300 or e4300 are great cpu's. is that budget for everything or what? take a look at this to get you started link
