Over the past 3 months, I've been slowly upgrading my machine to something respectable:

CoolerMaster Centurion 5 -> ?
CoolerMaster 380watt PSU -> OCZ GameXStream 600watt
Abit Nf7-S 2.0 -> Asrock 775dual vsta -> ?
Athlon XP-M 2500+ -> Intel C2D E6300
OCZ 2x512MB DDR400 -> ?
BFG 7800gs -? ATI X1950pro

Now, I still need a new case, motherboard and memory.

Starting with the case. I'm looking for something aluminum (I go to a few lans now-and-then). Something affordible (~150$ CAD), and mid-tower. The case I have in mind is the CoolerMaster Mystique 631

For the motherboard and memory, I would like the possibility to hit 7x500. I was thinking of this combo for just that:
Asus P5B Deluxe
Corsair Dominator XMS DDR2-800 4-4-4-12 2x1024MB

I wouldn't mind bringing the price down though. SLI and Corssfire are not important. And this machine will only be used with Windows XP, so I wont have to worry about using 4x 1GB.

I originally was thinking of the Asus P5N-E but, I've heard the north/south bridge get quite hot, so to spend extra money on cooling would bring the price up to ~190$.

Then of course there is the Asus P5B-E and Gigabyte GA-965P-DS3.

So many choices! I don't know what to do. OCZ memory is also much cheaper, like the OCZ Platinum Rev.2 DDR2-800 2x1024MB 4-4-4-15 is almost 90$ cheaper then the dominator ram, but then I've heard OCZ has some compatibilty issues with certain boards.

HELP!

Case: Thermaltake Matrix VX.....very well kept secret.....good cooling, extremely lightweight, P.I.M.P enough for a LAN party:

Currently out of stock, but you got time:

Pimp it with a nice CoolerMaster Blue LED 120mm exhaust fan on the case that's only 22 dba @ 1200 RPM and you're laughin at the LAN party ;)

Other stuff:
Check out my sig. DS3 with OCZ Plat spanks. No problems. And CHEAP TOO. Not picky like some of the P5B boards. Save some good coin on this combo and get a nice CPU HSF, OC that sucker and there ya go!
