IDE to SATA adapter ::OVERLOAD::

Hi there
I have 3 HD. 1 SATA + 2 IDE (both on sata adapters, both set to master)

After a while one of them started to overload my cpu causing stammering and freezing. I've tried to locate the source of this wired problem and it all pointed on one of the SATA adapters. But after some reconnection magic and drivers update the problem has gone. In a while it happend again and after the same magic it has gone again.

And now it came back, freaking me outt toally .

Is there anu idea how can i fix it permanently :?:

if its the adapters, ditch em and work around it that way

agreed. i've had one of those things die on me too. replace it.
