I just built a new computer. Nothing is overclocked. These are my specs below. How am I doing with temperatures? Are these average or am I risking burning something up?

Computer stats:
eVGA 680i Mobo
2GB of Corsair CM2X1024-6400 DDR2 800 4-4-4-12 @ 2.1volts
2 SLI Geforce 7600 GT OC graphics cards 256MB
16MB cache 320GB HD 7200RPM
Intel E6600 Core 2 Duo processor
700w Xtreme Gamer OCZ power supply

Here are my average temperatures after sitting for 1 hour average desktop / internet application use:

CPU: 52º C
SYSTEM: 35º C
GPU1: 55º C
GPU2: 49º C

Are these average or am I risking burning something up?

There a little to high, if my computer was hitting temps like that i would look into cooling it down, but the temps can go alot higher an still stay in the "safe zone" so i wouldnt worry. How high are your temps when the computer is under load? Im assuming your using the stock hsf, you might want to think about getting a new one, maybe an Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro, there pretty cheap, and there great coolers. If you dont mind spending a little more a Tuniq Tower 120 is what you should get, there about $57, and are pretty much the best aftermarket air cooler on the market. Which temp monitoring program are you using to get these temps? Some can be pretty inaccurate.

Check to make sure all 4 "feet" on the cooler are seated. If it's not properly seated, you're not making adequate contact between the CPU and the HSF. Intel coolers suck because you have to apply so much pressure to seat the clips that you think you're going to break something.

It looks like your CPU temp is the only one out of range, which is why I think it's just your heatsink isn't properly seated.

As RJ said, your CPU cooler is probably not properly seated, because under light load, your stock clock temps should be ~ 30c.

The following should give you some insight as to what's normal, and how to test for it.
