Ok i have an ASUS A8N5X mobo with a amd x2 3800, but it is only showing that i'm running one core with cpu-z program. My device manager shows i'm running ACPI multiprocessor PC setting and it shows 2 processors. My bios is updated. What the hell can be the problem? Thanks for any and all input.

when you look at CPUZ look at the bottom right hand corner, it should say 2 threads 2 cores. Also try the latest version of CPU-Z.
