I nominate Adelphia as worst cable company for HDTV

After months of waiting found out my local Adelphia Cable offers HDTV .
Called on Thursday , got a Saturday appointment, but they would only give an
8 am to 6 pm window. Well, the guy never showed up after a 10 hour wait.
Called to bitch.Rescheduled for Monday, they guaranteed an 8 am-10 am
window. He showed up at 11 am after I called again to complain. Took him an
hour to swap the Motorola HD box with my old digital box . Then he says they
only offer 2 channels, Showtime HD and Starz HD, neither of whose movie
channel I subscribe to. I asked "what about NBC, CBS, ABC, WB, Fox, HBO,
Discovery, ESPN, etc?" Answer- "we don't offer it ". Now I'm paying $6 more
per month for zero channels !

Anyone have anything more pathetic
