More Information

Hey everyone i'm interested in overclocking my AMD anthlon 2800+(oldie, i know) but don't know how/where to start. Well i have the basic idea just that all of the stuff i've researched doesn't go with my old system.

SYSTEM:

AMD anthlon 2800, 2.2Ghz
Sis 741 motherboard phoenix 6.00pg bios i think
Ram 1: 512mb pc3200(200mhz)
Ram 2: 512mb pc2700(166mhz)

I think thats all you need to know for overclocking a cpu oh, and the cooling, not sure what it is, i'll show you the inside of my pc though.

Here's some pics that should help...

Here's what shows up in CPU-Z

Well hope you guys can help me out, if you need more pics or have a question about anything just ask.

I know that you have OC in the bios but I don't know the first step because my motherboard is older with a bad bios, is there any way i can download a new bios for my mother board so that it will make it easier? I first want just OC with stock voltages, seeing my cooling from those pictures up there ^, how much do you estimate that i can OC to?

Thanks to anyone that helps,
-0det
