More Information

Since other posters have already commented on the necessity of expensive RAM for this oc project, I will just comment that the lack of price lists ... what the builder actually paid for the new components ... if he paid for them ... and the lack of comparison to other systems in the performance tests ... leaves me unenlightened.

What you'd like to see is a performance comparison of this oc solution to another one costing US $100-200 less, and one costing US $100 - 200 more.

In fairness, the writing is clear with a straightforward expository tone.

Another very "forgettable" article. Hinging it on a gimmick like a 81% for US $27 cheapens it.

Unfortunately, this type of article, and the general "ad fest" blooming-buzzing-confusion of the disorganized graphic design of what once was Tom's Hardware means I almost never visit here anymore. I find much better, more focused discssions on Sharkey, Anand, even the forum for NewEgg and ZipZoomFly.
