First time buying a TV Tuner...

and I don't know anything about them so I need a lot of help I think. I don't know to much about TVs either but can I watch TV on my computer in HD or do you need to get something from your TV provider and will I be able to play my Xbox, PS2 etc. on it I think oyu have to get an external one for it thou but I don't know. I don't want to spend $200. So can you guide me from here?

This last article is very good regarding HD playback. Most popular TV tuner amongst enthusiasts seems to be the Hauppauge series, esp the 500, because it has two tuners. The 350 is the same, but a single tuner; the 150 is under $100, and is sort of the budget model. Also take a look at the ATI Theater series: the 550 and newer 650 (which fits in a pci-e slot). My favorite is the Saber2020, which can be had for about $140 with a rebate. It is also dual tuner, and pci-e, but in many reviewer's opinion, has the best picture reproduction in the price ranges outlined above.

btw, check compatibility with your mobo, i bought (a few years ago mind) a budget TV tuner...short story shorter..didnt work on my NF7.
