How can I lose the screen tips in the taskbar, favorites etc.? Thanks.

Hi Ted,

D/load and run Doug Knox's Disable Windows® XP's Balloon Tips:
http://dougknox.com/xp/scripts_desc/xp_balloontips.htm

You may receive a warning from your Antivirus program regarding the .vbs
file possibly being an unsafe or malicious file.......there is nothing
malicious about Doug Knox's .vbs files.
