More Information

The initial BIOS screen showing the BIOS version (up-to-date, R1.11), memory and detected IDE devices displays fine. However, the following screens AND the actually BIOS Setup screen is garbled such that I cannot do any setup or see what's going on. This is a real problem when things change and the system won't work until I modify BIOS! I had to buy a PCIe card just so I could modify system BIOS.

I tried to address this when I first bought the board but I've been unsuccessful.

See the photo below. I don't so much mind that the screen doesn't take up the whole monitor-- actually, i kind of like it that way. And yes, I'm using an Apple Cinema Display.

So, setup is:
i915GMm-HFS motherboard with a Pentium Mobile chip
Apple 20" Cinema Display using onboard DVI output

Anyone had this problem? Thanks in advance.
