Goodbye Old Men/Women

Hey Guys,

Some bad news: basically, we're closing down this section of the forum. With Best of Media's push to appeal to more visitors and increase traffic, supporting the rough and write-as-you-please nature of the Old Man/Woman's Club no longer made sense.

It was fun while it lasted, and I even shared a perversion or two with some of you guys, but the fact remains that BoM wants to build the biggest computer enthusiast community possible, and praying that unsuspecting first-time visitors don't wander in here to get verbally raped (to never return) is no longer an option.

There will of course continue to be sections devoted to OT stuff; everything under "Beyond the Keyboard". I know many of you consider the Old Man/Woman's Club the only reason why you visit Tom's Hardware. But if you do need help with your computer hardware or actually want to help other people out, you're more than welcome to drop by at the other sections of the Tom's Hardware Forums.

The good news is that this section will close next Monday—or around seven days from now—providing enough time for anyone who wants to save whatever they wrote here. Once November 16 arrives however, the Old Man/Woman's Club will be shut down permanently.
