I have an odd problem. I have just built:

ASUS P5N32-E SLI w/ nvidia680i chipset (12/06/06 bios)
2xBFG 8800GTX OC in SLI
4GB OCZ Gamer Platinum DDR2-800 memory
Pentium E6600 Core Duo
200GB Seagate 7200.10 SATA
750GB Seagate 7200.10 SATA

When booting the bios reports 4GB of ram. When in viewing system properties in windowsXP SP2, it is only reporting 3GB of memory. These chips are dual channel and must be installed in pairs.....I am confused as to why this is happening.

I checked the QVL from ASUS and suprisingly OCZ is not a qualified vendor. however, the BIOS successfully reports the RAM so the OS should see it too....

A seperate question:

I am not sure that windows is recoginizing the full size of my 750drive. I created to basic partitions and formated with NTFS, but drive manager is only reporting two 317200MB halves...

Thanks in Advance!

The reason is bc the max. memory that Windows (32-bit version) can detect is currently 3GB.

However, Windows (the 64-bit version) can detect 4GB os RAM.

So there is nothing wrong with your system.
