More Information

Am looking to replace a Zalman 9500 with something quieter. The 9500 makes too much noise at higher speeds (it's on a fan controller too). So, need something that will keep a 6300 cool that's OC'd to 3.0....and might go higher. But it also has to be quiet. It'll be in an Antec P180 case, with Noctua 120mm silent intake/exhaust fans.

Some options:

-Noctua NH-U12F

-Thermalright ULTRA-120
http://www.ncix.com/products/index [...] ERMALRIGHT

-Sunbeam Tuniq Tower 120
http://www.ncix.com/products/index [...] re=Sunbeam

-Scythe Ninja Rev.B
http://www.directcanada.com/produc [...] ure=SCYTHE

So, looking for COOL and QUIET. I am well aware of people's preference here when suggesting a HSF for an OC'd CPU......I see lots of "TUNIQ FTW!!!" and "SCYTHE FTW!!!" type posts......but I want QUIET too.

Info and factual data would be most appreciated. Much thanks,
Sky.
