Worth Stepping Up?

I have an EVGA 8800GTS. I have about 8 days left before my eligibility to step-up expires. It will cost me around $145 to step-up to the 8800 GTX. Should I even bother or should I take advantage of the opportunity and get the 8800 GTX? I do not know if it would really be worth my time or money to do so. What do you guys/gals think?

Thanks - crim 8)

Edit - Just FYI I play/work/browse on a Dell 20.1 Widescreen monitor @ 1680 x 1050. I am thinking of going with the Dell 24'' within the year.

I would keep the GTS. GTX I would say is not worth the step-up yet anyways. You'll be more satisfied with your product once Vista's DX10 drivers are up and DX10 games are released onto the market.

Yeah man keep your GTS. $145 bucks is well on your way to another card in the future. That GTS will last you awhile for sure. I stepped up from my evga 7800GTX to the 7900GTX for only $30. That is worth it. But if before that my 7800GTX 256 setup to a 7800GTX 512 for another $150 or soemtehn there abouts just simply was NOT worth it per benchmarks/game-results. Your GTS rules. :) Keep your dough for the future upgrades. :)
