decent harddrive with sata

decent CS 1.6 framerate

I got this build going for $500

I'd suggest you pay 10 bucks more for a dvd-rom drive & a 2 bucks more for an 80mm case fan & stick it in the back. The $1 fans at newegg are kinda loud. This is only 25 dba. Bearable.

The psu in you selected the case isn't good at all. The Fortron is much better. 400W & 18A on +12v rail. The x1600pro beats 7300gt in the same price range. Heck, you could play new games at low resolutions or low to medium effects.

If you don't want a DVD burner, at least get a combo. LG, Lite-On, and NEC are all good.

This is the closest comparion between the 2 cpu's I could find. It's not even Sempron 64. 3500+ Orlean is in the middle half.
