any AGP motherboards that work with a AMD Athlon X2?? Im on a budget and I was thinking of just upgrading my cpu but I need a motherboard that has a agp slot... cant seem to be able to find one. It would need to be a 939 board too, since I have DDR Ram.

thanks for your help

First off these motherboards are getting hard to find. Here are a couple of links but I am not going to guarentee the venders or brands. Just some info to point you in the right directon.

You will still need to go to manufacturers websites to verfiy operation with the X2 processors, but this is pretty much all that is left.

I believe this ASROCK board is just what you need. It has AGP and PCI-Express for future upgrades! Ive been using an Asrock 939 dual sata2 board for awhile and it works great. I went from a 6600gt agp to 7800gt pci-e on the same board. Also I've been using an AMD X2 4800+ with no problems.
Good Luck on your purchase. www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16813157097

I second that. The Dual-Vista is basically the same as the one we've got, cept it is "officially" certified for Vista (although mine ran Vista x86 beta 2 and x64 rc2 versions fine--bought the RTM vista but it's coming next week and well see how that works...)
