Is this Power supply good enough??

Hi. I just purchased a case for my new system that has this PSU in it.

Need to know if you guys think its gonna be enough to run my 3800+ X2, 8800 GTS, 2g Crucial DDR2, and single sata 2 drive?

I was kind of wondering about the quality of Ultra PSU's in general. I really don't see many people use them, though they do have a nice warranty.

Yes It looks like a good PSU, altough not sure about the single rail usage

Your going to be fine. At your peak load I doubt your computer will ever use more then 400w in that configuration.

And the single rail design is fine, in fact it is the best design for high end power supply's. This is due to high end video cards can end up overloading one rail on some multi rail power supply's.

Now I will admit that I am not a fan products sold by ultra, but I will confess there latest power supply's have been getting ok reviews from sites I actually trust.

Yes you have a good setup. That PSU is fine and it has a 3 year warranty

Good multi-rail PSUs will combine rails automatically if the load on any of them gets too high to handle :lol:
