Gigabyte Sound Issues... HALP!

Does anyone know of the sound issues with Gigabyte 8ihxp? I have onboard ac97 and a soundblaster Live! PCI card and both of them pop and skip and hiccup any video or music files.

New creative drivers are worse than the old ones.

Removing or disabling either doesnt help the other.

I know that these creative cards dont follow PCI spec and need an IRQ either 10 or <=10, im not sure which but in any case i cant set it in the bios, it just ignores my settings and its stuck on IRQ 22 or 24 in windows depending on which slot i have it in.

I've had this problem for a long time and tried many drivers and switched PCI slots and every setting i could think of. I had this problem before and found some way around it but the workaround is not working any more after my re-install last fall.

I want to kill this thing, I love my music but it drives me insane.
