My friend has this mobo:

BIOSTAR PT880 Pro-A7C LGA 775 VIA PT880 PRO ATX

It has an AGP and a PCI Express slot. Can he use each one at the same time and have two monitors running? Also, could he use dirrerent brands of cards, eg Nvidia PCIX and ATI AGP? Dunno about this one..... Doesn't do gaming on it, just spreadsheets etc..... Thanks!!

I don't know from experience and I have only read on multiple forums that you "can" run both agp and pcie at the same time. Of course if Dual monitors is your goal, then just the PCIE or AGP will be enough with the right card that has the DVI and VGA plug on it. You can also mix different brands and shouldn't be a problem.
Good Luck :)
