That looks like a pretty good idea. Probably help keep that North Bridge cool as well... I would have to toss my exhaust fan tho...

I like the classy copper look.

But that other one is HUGE.
 
This unit does not fit the Socket 1207(FX) that the QuadFX uses so it can't be made for that application. However, it *does* fit LGA775, which is home to the hottest CPUs ever made- the Pentium D 830, 840, 840EE, and the QX6700 Kentsfield. All are 130W+ TDPs and are in need of an enormous cooler such as this one.
