Here's is what i'm planning on getting:

intel e6400
asus p5b deluxe
1gig of ddr2 800mhz
antec neohe 550w
ati x1950 pro or x1950xt or evga 8800gts(477$ canadian dollars)

2 questions:
1) which of these card would you recommend, if i plan to upgrade in a year or two, i will go with x1950pro.
2) which case would fit well with those specs.

thanks

If you have the money for an 8800GTS go ahead and get it. It will definitely last you 2 years. If you're on a budget the X1950XT is a GREAT buy for the money (atleast here in the states). Of course if you're on an even tighter budget the X1950PRO is still an amazing card for the money, and will most likely get buy for 2 years, but even I cant tell the future.

Again if your on a budget the COOLER MASTER Centurion 5 for $50 is a good case

The Antec P180 for about $120 would also be a good choice, you may also want to consider the Thermaltake Armor Series.

No need to spend the extra $50 or so on the E6400. Buy the 6300 and overclock it easy to E6400 levels.

8800GTS for your video card, but consider upping your PSU to 750W.

Case.. as the other poster suggested P180 is fine.
