Where are all the SLI Core Duo and better motherboards?

The only motherboard I can find that supports Quad-core / Core 2 Extreme / Core 2 Duo AND SLI (I wanted to get a board that supports quad for down-the-line upgradeability and SLI for the same reason) is the ASUS P5N-E SLI LGA 775 NVIDIA nForce 650i SLI ATX (newegg link http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16813131142 )

The reviews on it are not too shining. Is there anything else out there that would support twin 8800s and Quad-cores, or am I going to have to wait a few months until the chips mature? I was planning on putting an E6600 and an 8800 GTX in there right now, but like I mentioned earlier, I wanted room to upgrade.

Anyone know of anything coming out at least?

Oh, awesome, thanks. The 680i's are way expensive, and the 650i's pretty much have the same features other than the 6 SATA drives/2 USB controllers and an extra PCI-E port, all of which I don't need (or need to pay extra for)

Finding out more are coming means that their price will probably go down a bit, closer to the $100 mark. Thanks again.

Keep in mind that the 650i can only run 8x/8x mode in SLI mode while the 680i can run the full 16x/16x/8x.

P965/P975X only supports CrossFire (Which is kinda messed up because AMD is with ATI now and nVidia has been a big supporter of AMD 64 FX CPUs)

If you're not going to run SLI, the Gigabyte P965-DQ6 or DS3 are good choices as they are frequently used in benchmarks. The abit QuadGT has been getting some buzz lately.

Also, some may say that the ICH8 is a better southbridge than the MCP found on the 680i.

Well, I think that the ones that are coming are going to be dearer than the Asus which shows a few signs of cost cutting (e.g. PCB isn't full size & has a soldered rather than socketed BIOS chip).

It's possible to run SLI on them with hacked drivers.
No hacked drivers for 8800s though.

What do you mean by "dearer"?
