Hey guys, looking for some advice here. I'm leaning toward building this system:

Antec Sonata II Case (I want a quiet unit)

Gigabyte GA-965P-DS3 Mobo

Asus x1950pro video card

Intel E6300 cpu (should I go E4300 instead?)

Gskill 2GB mem

WD 250gb SATA drive

Lite-on DVD writer

Creative Audigy SE sound

and Windows Vista Home Premium

I've seen good and bad reviews on the Antec SmartPower2.0 450w psu included with the Sonata case. It is listed as a tier 2 psu...

What's the low-down on this psu? Will it be reliable and sufficient to power my system?

This sounds rather familiar. I have a similar post somewhere further down the forum when I was considering the Sonata II for my new system.

If it isn't too late to suggest it, I went with the Antec Solo case in the end which is similar design to the Sonata II if you like that (including the fact that it's quiet). You'll want to couple it with a quiet PSU too - I went with the Antec NeoHE 500W, though you may be OK with a lower wattage version on your system, I don't know. :) (I think the next model down is 430W)
