i have a core 2 duo and right now its at 3.2 but with really high settings.

System:

Intel Conroe E6600 at 3.21 ghz
Corsair XMS2 3gb DDR2 800
Asus P5W Deluxe
Thermaltake Tsunami Case
Western Digital Raptor 150gb +Seagate 320GB 7200.10
Antec NeoHe 550 watts
Evga 7600gt CO 605core 801 mem
Creative Labs Xfi elite pro
Logitech z-5500 speakers
Dell UltraSharp 2407WFP

Setting in the bios:vcore 1.485,vdimm 2.10,fsb 1.4 mch 1.5,fsb356 ,ram 712 1:1,pci 100 33.33,temps idle 36 load 52.

I tried raising the vcore to 1.6 vmch 1.6 vfsb 1.5 vdimm 2.2 but still cant get the system over 356 fsb.

maybe my temps are limiting me?

Can anyone help me in getting my cpu higher

Temps won't limit the system to post even at 80ºC. And those temps are too low for 3.2Ghz. What cooler do u have?

You may have reached the cpu or the mobo limit.
Try with only two sticks of ram and let them in dual channel. If u have 2gb+1gb, let the 2gb

on thats board.....you have to make sure that Hyperpath is off....and make sure your set the ram to SPD.....

Thats all i can think of thats holding you back.....

Or your could be @ your max....either way 3.2 is still FAST!!!!

Yea i know 3.2 is still good but come on when i see a guy htting 3.5 with a 6400 it just kills me.

And yes i have hyperpath off and ram to spd but still nothing.

my cooling is zalman 9500 full speed.

Also i am going to get a 8800gtx and is my processor going to give everything it wont bottleneck?I saw a dude with a 4.2 ghz e6600 and he was still gettting higher scores in 3dmark06 so is 3.2 enough?

I really want to get everything out of it if i am going to pay 500 $$ for it.
