Hi. I have a problem with Neverwinter Nights on my Linux. I have Mandrake
10.1
and today i fortunately installed this game on my computer.
But the problem is that when i'm trying to start the game a get a warning.
[dante@localhost nwn]$ ./nwn
Error

And that's everything, i don't know what can i do. Can you help me?

Please describe what method you used for the installation. Did you use
Ravage's installer, or did you use the one I wrote (biounzip.sf.net)? Did
you use the downloaded 1.29 linux client resources? What expansion packs
did you try to install?

I have nwresources129.tar.gz ( 1.2Gb ) and nwclient129.tar.gz ( 5.2Mb ).
To install i had typed ./fixinstall and after a few seconds i got:
" You are ready to run Neverwinter Nights. "
Then i had typed ./nwn and i got that error:
[dante@localhost nwn]$ ./nwn
Error

I didn't do anything else.

Hi
just try some other color-depth. that was the solution for me.
A depth of 24 works well here.
