Fully updated xp laptop and all recent firmware put on Belkin N-1 router. I try to connect to my laptop running windows xp using the Belkin N-1 card and it crashes the system.

I have cloned the router to be the same MAC address as the original network card and that has stabilized the system somewhat, but if I use the Belkin N-1 card with the latest drivers, the XP system crashes. How would I troubleshoot this issue? If I use an old Wireless G card in the laptop, the system does not crash. It is only when I use the Belkin N-1 card in the laptop that the system crashes.
