Hey,

I've just bought a SATA1-2 compatible enclosure, which is THIS

I'm gonna buy a regular sata hdd for this one. However, only one vital question remains unanswered. How am I to connect this enclosure to my notebook?
As a matter of fact I didn't know anything about SATA drives, I've been using two external IDE drives with enclosures and they have usb out as you know.
My notebook's motherboard doesn't seem to have any slot for sata. What am I supposed to do now?
Thanks for your understanding. Any help will be highly appreciated!

If you notebook does not have eSATA, then you need to add a PCMCA card - or similar depending on what slots you have - to connect, such as this one:

I cannot recommend a specific brand or model so you might want to search on newegg or another site to review options.
