Is iTouch 3rd Generation 32GB Compatible w/ Windows 7 w/ iTunes 8.0+?

Ok, I have the iTouch 3rd generation 32GB and I am about to upgrade my Hp p6130f to Windows 7.

However, I heard that Windows 7 is now compatible with new Ipod models?

Is it true???

Windows 7 doesn't care which generation of iPod is hooked up to it. All it sees is an external hard drive identifying itself as an iPod. iTunes is what you need to worry about. I believe the 3rd gen iPod Touch units are only supported under iTunes version 9.
