I first downloaded the Voice Command update 1.5 and ran the install. When it
got to install on the mobile I got a message, "Can't cause Voice Command
Already Installed)"
So I uninstalled v1.0 on the mobile and tried the 1.5 install, nothing. Got
an error "Can't install there is no v1.5 on this machine!"
So I reinstalled v1 and tried the update again... got the same error: "Can't
install There is no v1.5 on this machine!"
The web page says this IS a free update, so why can't it update?

If you have a legal copy it should work just running the update on top of
it.
Other problems could be that you are installing it to a different
place(for example, file store or storage card) as your previous version.

It is a legal copy from Handango. Can I really uninstall on desktop and
mobile to see if I can install from scratch again? It seems some programs
you can't easily totally uninstall. Since v1.0 works fine I'm not going to
spend a lot of time getting v1.5 to work.
Thanks

FOUND THE FIX...
v1.5 would not update on the mobile as long as there was an existing copy
even v1.0
before run update
delete-remove voice command from mobile
install update
if cannot run update on phone
uninstall all voice command on desktop
install v1 on desktop but not mobile
install update on desktop and mobile
my mobile crashed after installing update w/o v1 on it but after restart
works fine as v1.5
