I work in retail and had a question posed to me today regarding network storage. Linksys has a wireless network device to allow USB encasements for Hard Drives and Hard Drives to be shared over the network. Would it also be possible to simply use a print server with USB interface to do the same?

It depends if the wireless print server also has a file server.

do you know if linksys print server also has file server capability?

Neither of linksys currently avalible printer servers list any file server capabilites.

Thats not to say that the device couldn't be hacked like the routers firmware and file server capabilites added but i have not heard of such a thing on a print server.
