Hello group..
Just bought from Sears their very last SRZ3000..Only bad thing no manual so
have been doing setup on the fly...I bought also from them the Zenith Silver
antenna and everything seems good, except fox..Here in Austin TX fox DT
should be channel 7-1, and I managed to get it for about 30 minutes. I got
up and walked toward the TV, and the picture went black and the screen said
"searching" or something like that..I put it on setup and Antenna, and it
shows zero signal strength..I then ran the auto channel setup and the 7-1
dropped completely off the selections! I live very close to the Fox TV
station so don't think I should be having a fringe problem..I have tried
again several times and moved the antenna all over the place.
I have tried to find the manual on line but isn't avalable
anywhere..Sylvania's support is horrid, they say the unit is made by funai
and going to their site they refer you back to sears..So guess I will have
to order one..
So far I think I only have seen one HD program..Does the TV automatically
switch back and forth between 4:3 and 16:9 depending on the program? I find
the screen settings are disabled with the unit hooked to the TV...But
oye..The difference in the digital channel and the analog is amazing..Even
rivals the Directv local channels...
Anyway I was hoping someone else has one of these that might share with me
why I can't get it to find the fox digital channel again...
Take care..
John

John,

I was told just recently that the Zenith
Silver only recieves UHF stations. That means you do not recieve stations
1-13. You need to get and cable combiner and a vhf antenna.
