Probably you'll get a near-perfect gray scale. Black-level will likely
improve a bit, but the LCD technology, despite its advances and
high-quality picture, still suffers from black-level issues.

If you haven't tried to calibrate it yourself using DVE or Avia, I would
see if that alleviates some of the problem first. It's a much cheaper
solution. If not, and you are determined to spend the money, see if
anyone on the forum has received an ISF calibration from someone in your
area that can be recommended. If not, visit a trusted AV shop (if you
have one) and ask if they have someone they use.

Be prepared to pay to have multiple inputs calibrated.

In the HDTV shootout a few months ago in Home Theater Mag, the
calibration they did left the set with a near-perfect 6500K across the
entire range. It looked pretty bad before calibration (from the chart,
at least)

Over at www.avsforum.com there are some pretty good threads on tweaking
these sets especially as posted by a fellow with the handle
UMR, "UMR Does GWIII XBR &WE" ... 973 posts ...
