Would some who have experienced HDTV provide a list of things to look for in
HDTV sets? I could hopefully make a grid and compare the various sets. I am
looking for 57-61 inch, not plasma.

couple things I can think of:

-native resolution of set
-input/output selection (e.g. dvi input, firewire output)
-built-in HD tuner or not
-Line doubling and up-converting technology
-3:2 pull down
-Picture settings/controls
