Ripped MP3s with no sound ???

I tried to rip some audio CDs to get a MP3 version of the music, but for some reason, all the ripped MP3 files have NO sound at all !!! The length of each song is the same, but it just goes through the entire song without any sound. This is the same whether I use my Pioneer DVD Rom drive or my Song CDRW. Is there any solution to this problem?

Digital or analog? Do you have an audio cable plugged in?

I thought ripping MP3 is a digital extraction process and requires no audio cable plugged in. I am not too sure whether my audio is plugged in.

What do you mean by digital or analog ?

Just making sure your settings are matching up. Some programs let you do it by analog or digital - your choice.
