Here are the parts that I was thinking about for my first build. The computer is going to be used mostly for internet, music and movies. Very little gaming. I wanted something that would be easy to upgrade in the future as needed.

looks pretty good to me, the only things I could suggest is to not get a psu with a case, especially a $30 case, Id say spend at least $40 on a case and get a decent psu seperately

when i was a newbie, I made the same mistake of cheaping out on the case and psu, the psu died within 2 months, thankfully not damaging my system. The case is noisy, Ive tried stealth fans and vibration dampeners which hasnt helped much since the case is just poorly made

other than that, go for it!
