My ipaq syncs okay including files. I know that files must be in the ppc my
document folder if they are to sync. After syncing if I don't want them to
sync I move them to a subfolder but they are still in the desktop ipaq
folder so will again sync so should I just dlete them or use desktop Active
Sync to remove them?
This is confusing for me as all the iPAQ manual said is "drag the files you
want to sync to the desktop iPAQ folder" it does not say anything about how
to remove.
Also on the same subject when I drag a file to the desktop ipaq folder I
assume I have the choice of a "move drag" or "copy drag". If I "move drag"
then the file is moved out of the desktop "My documents" and if I "copy
drag" then changes to the original file in desktop "My Documents" will not
be synched.
Is there anywhere I can read about such procedures?

Hi Beemer - If you want to stop sync'ing the files in on
the PC, then you will have to remove the file from both
locations - PC and PPC - whether you delete the file, or
move the file to another folder on both devices, as long
as it isn't in the ipaq folder on both devices, the file
will not sync.
For the Move/Copy - When you move a loaf of bread - the
bread doesn't remain in it's original location - on the
other hand, if you copy the bread (would be nice - save
on the groceries) you would have 2 loaves.

xfiler,
Would have been better if you could just drag shortcut to the desktop ipaq
folder and for it still to synch the original
